This series of isometric illustrations was created for an online training course that explored leadership as a key driver of youth participation. The project aimed to equip young people, youth workers, teachers, and community leaders with useful tools for becoming effective change makers in their local, national, and European communities.
Through dynamic metaphors – buses steering toward new horizons, roads unfolding like books of knowledge, roundabouts symbolizing decision-making, and gold mines representing the hidden potential in youth-led initiatives – each illustration visually translates the power of leadership and participation.
Despite the many initiatives supporting youth engagement, challenges remain, and young people still need more opportunities and support to fully participate in civic society. This training course, held in December 2020, provided a space for learning, networking, and exploring new leadership models to foster active citizenship and social impact.
