UEFA is not just a football organisation. Its complex approach means there are certain departments inside it that take care of many other aspects, including the impact that football can have on societies and people. Such a department came up with something called the UEFA GROW Social Return on Investment model. Or, in short, the UEFA GROW SROI, which deals exactly with that: building sustainable strategies to reach people, from youth to seniors, who love football and practice it. In this way, they are enabled to extract benefits like:
- better education (because playing football requires a certain degree of adaptation, autonomy and deliberate effort);
- better social skills (because you learn to play with others and be part of a team);
- better health (because you exercise and stay fit);
- better life-skills (because the pitch is a good ground for getting valuable insights).
With this story in hand, Picturise had the beautiful mission to help UEFA create the animated video that explains the UEFA GROW SROI model and thus spread the impact of of football and local football clubs all across Europe.
